Root Canal Therapy Services
Root Canal Therapy is a key dental practice at our studios, where we offer a wide range of dental solutions to make your smile healthy, happy, and bright.
Also known as Endodontic Therapy, Root Canal Therapy is the dental treatment where the infection is removed from inside your tooth to protect it from future infections and prevent it from dying.
It involves a complex and technically demanding practice of removing nerves from the underlying pulp in your tooth. The dental treatment is conducted in the "root canal" of your tooth, hence the name.
Root canal therapy has an old reputation of being a painful procedure. In reality, it is designed to relieve the pain caused by an infected tooth. It has a very high success rate of relieving patients of pain and discomfort caused by an infected or decaying tooth when performed well.
Root canal therapy is a common procedure with little or no discomfort; most of our patients find it’s as unobtrusive as getting a filling.

The Root Canal Therapy Process at Enhanced Dental Studios
Our expert dentists at Enhanced Dental Studios are dedicated to giving you the best root canal therapy you can get. It is a three-step process that typically takes just one session to complete. However, it may take one or two additional sessions in case of more complex canals or infections.
Cleaning
The first step in the Root Canal Therapy process requires our experienced dentist to remove everything inside the root canal of your tooth. To do this in a pain-free manner, they will administer local anaesthesia to the area of the tooth that requires root canal therapy.
Once the area is numb, the dentist will drill a small access hole on the surface of the damaged/infected tooth. Using tiny files, they will then use this hole to remove all the decayed and diseased tissue from the root canal.
This is the "painful" step of the process, which is made pain-free thanks to the administration of local anaesthesia. The dentist will continue to remove tissue until the entire canal is cleaned and ready for the next step of the Root Canal Therapy process.
Filling
Once the root canal is emptied, cleaned, and decontaminated using irrigation solutions, our expert dentist fills the tooth with a rubber-like material and then sealed using adhesive cement. This procedure allows the dentist to close up the root canal completely.
This step renders the tooth lifeless because the infection and underlying nerve tissue have been removed and the canal has been sealed. You will no longer feel any pain from this tooth due to the lack of nerve tissue and infection.
Protective Crown or Filling
The cleaning and filling leave the tooth fragile and prone to breakage than it was before. Since your tooth has no connecting nerve tissue to supply nourishment to it, the connecting ligament to the bone will have to make do.
While this is ample for the tooth to survive, it tends to become weaker and more brittle over time, which is why a crown or filling is the best way to ensure the tooth's long-term survival. It offers much-needed protection and strength to the weak and brittle tooth.
Once your tooth has a crown or filling, you can go back to using it as you did before, without any pain or discomfort.
Don't let dental infections give you more pain or discomfort!
Root Canal Therapy is an incredible dental treatment that can rid you of your toothache, often in a single session. However, as mentioned, complex canals like multi-canals, curved canals, or prolonged, large infections may require one or two additional dental sessions at Enhanced Dental Studios.
